Chris Szoke, NP is originally from Wantagh, New York. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Pace University and his graduate degree from Arizona State University. He has worked in Phoenix and Scottsdale since 1995. He is well-regarded in the community and enjoys collaborating with his colleagues to provide a respectful team approach to patient care. Chris is a clinical diabetes specialist and holds double board certification. He has type 1 diabetes and is familiar with the newest innovations in care and enjoys caring for patients who share the same health problem. He is passionate about this area of medicine and is active in the professional division of the ADA. He also has extensive experience in interventional radiology and remains active in the radiology community. Chris is comfortable treating general internal medicine patients and all aspects of diabetes care. His focus includes closed-loop insulin pump therapy, inhaled insulin, all types of continuous glucose sensors (CGMs), meters, apps, comprehensive self-management education, and novel medical therapies to promote weight loss. Special interests in managing type 1 and 2 diabetes and peripheral and autonomic neuropathies. He is well-known in the community and provides holistic personalized care. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, reading, and listening to music. He grew up playing ice hockey and is a Montreal Canadiens fan. Go Habs!
